1. Acceptance
By creating a HireBee account, accessing our platform, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you're entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding contracts to use HireBee. You're responsible for everything done under your account, including by team members you invite.
Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately at security@hirebee.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription & billing
HireBee offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers. Changes take effect at your next renewal.
Cancel anytime from your billing portal. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
4. Customer content
You retain all ownership in the content you upload to HireBee, including job descriptions, questions, and candidate video responses (collectively, “Customer Content”).
You grant HireBee a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account (subject to the retention windows in our Privacy Policy).
You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process candidate data — including any required consent under applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use HireBee to:
- Discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics
- Harass, threaten, or deceive candidates or anyone else
- Upload malicious code, scrape the platform, or attempt to bypass security controls
- Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the service
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For serious violations (e.g. illegal content) we may act immediately and without notice.
6. Intellectual property
HireBee owns the platform, including all software, design, trademarks, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of HireBee IP to you.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep HireBee fast and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We'll notify customers about planned maintenance when possible.
Enterprise customers may receive a contractual uptime SLA. Free and Pro plans do not include an SLA.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your billing portal.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a security risk. On termination, your access ends immediately; we'll delete your data per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireBee's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HireBee harmless from any claim arising from your use of the service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify account owners by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of HireBee after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
